If they can prove the ref made a bad decision, they will be a very Stong case of damages based on a percentage of income (in millions of euros thats) or FIFA could bring in video replays and make the refs answer because there are bad decisions. (Its one of the main causes of the riots that games are by design very low score and a bad decision can change a result very easily)

It is admitted in all sports on this planet refs are humans, humans are not perfect and that sometimes the ref is wrong. Re a video referee, a thousand times yes, but unfortunately, the question has already been asked a thousand times at least and FIFA just will not budge. They claim it would slow the game down too much. Personally I think fans will be happy, even if refs have been limited to use for calls that lead to cards, penalty kicks or a piece set releases them. I think most fans would be happy to accept a slight delay on those occasions (if the ref decides to use the video ref) if it means a fairer game.
